KEYWORDS

Met with marketing manage and compiled a list of our primary keywords in use: Design and Manufacturing, Local Cabinet Maker, Countertop Fabricator, Cabinets, Countertops.

RESEARCH

Conduct an analysis of the companies that rank higher than us on search engines such as Google, Bing, and Safari. Review their landing pages to assess their keyword usage, focus areas, and SEO strategies. Evaluate the frequency of keywords used, the prominence of key topics, and the quality of their SEO descriptions.

CREATED A LANDING PAGE

Utilized both existing and newly discovered keywords to construct segmented sections on the landing page. Integrated the focal city name multiple times throughout the content. Ensured the inclusion of a compelling call to action and comprehensive company information. Incorporated elements from our primary landing page while emphasizing the city-specific keywords and showcasing potential projects completed within that area.

RESULTS

Within a week, our webpages organically ranked in the top 3 position in search results, often trailing behind prominent competitors like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and occasionally IKEA.

KEY TAKEWAYS

Successfully incorporating keywords into our content over 30 times while maintaining informative and valuable content for website visitors which drives SEO engines.

IF I COULD CHANGE SOMETHING…

Regularly refreshing these pages every six months maintains up-to-date SEO practices and ensures the company remains relevant.

Additionally, employing these pages during company events, meetings, or targeted mailers by integrating QR codes as direct links can personalize the experience for clients and foster trust.

UNFORTUNATLEY

Due to the company’s closure, the website has been removed as of 3/11/2024. Therefor, examples of my design can’t be presented in this case. Despite this, I have done a case study for another company.

 CASE STUDY

This case study involves conducting a direct search for kitchen remodel contractors in the local area to analyze their use of keywords, comparing them with the designated subject’s keywords. Subsequently, I will create a mock layout demonstrating the implementation of service area pages on their website.
